Frequently Asked Questions.
FAQ’s
DO YOU TAKE WALK INS?
No. I tattoo by appointment only.
AM I THE RIGHT ARTIST FOR YOU?
I am grateful for each and every person who reaches out to be tattooed by me; however, I am not always the best tattoo artist for every piece. I ask that you look through my work to make sure that my style and the designs that I do are what you desire. While I want to be pushed in my art, I am very specific on the custom pieces I take on. If you find that I am not the right person for you or what you are wanting is outside of the projects I am accepting, then I would be more than happy to help you find another artist who can bring your idea to life.
DO YOU DO COVER UPS?
I do not accept cover up pieces. On occasion, depending on the simplicity of the first design, I have accepted cover ups. I don't accept a cover up piece unless it can be transformed well using my existing style.
HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT PRICING?
Every design is individually priced based on the design complexity, size, and location. Though I do not price hourly, my price typically breaks down to $150 per hour but the appointment minimum is $250. Once the appointment date is confirmed, I will send the price estimate. A $100 deposit is required to confirm your appointment and the deposit will be part of the total price.
WHY ARE YOUR BOOKS CLOSED AND WHEN WILL THEY OPEN AGAIN?
I am so grateful to everyone who wants to work with me. To ensure that I remain focused and at peace in my work, I close my books when they are full. For me, “full” is dependent on how I approach booking each round. For now, I will only be booking 4 to 6 weeks at a time. Any future updates about booking will be posted on my instagram and website!
How Far Out Do You Book?
At this time, the furthest I will book out is roughly 4-6 weeks.
CAN I GET ON A WAITING / CANCELLATION LIST?
TBA
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Please leave the saniderm cover on for up to 48hrs.
Remove the cover immediately if you notice that your skin is getting irritated around the edges of the plastic.
Take it off by running it under hot water. While running under the water, peel a corner up and pull it away from the skin. Then, slowly pull the plastic off.
Clean the tattoo with an antibacterial soap and pat dry. Then, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor.
Apply Aquaphor up to 2 times a day. After the first week you can transition to using lotion if needed.
Do not itch, scratch, or pick your healing tattoo. Remain out of direct sunlight and do not go in a pool during the entirety of your healing.
It takes up to 30 days to fully heal.
